Account Manager, Dallas-Fort WortSpark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for an Account Manager to lead the sales efforts of our electrical technical services in the DFW region. This is a hands-on position that involves direct interaction with existing customers and new customer prospects.What will do you as an Account Manager?

Perform direct sales and business development activities which contribute to the growth and development of Spark Power via the electrical MEP consultants, electrical construction, general contractors, and end user channels.

Develop & deliver sales presentations to all levels within a targeted customer's organization with an emphasis on the promotion of NETA, and Spark Power capabilities.

Get involved on the front end of new construction and retrofit projects, working directly with architectural and engineering firms, general contractors, and electrical contractors.

Visit all account(s) on a regular basis to maintain a "strategic relationship" status; identifies necessary account changes and opportunities as quickly as possible.

Support our key marketing activities necessary to support sales growth in efforts such as, roadshows, national conferences, tradeshows, sales trainings, and various sales engagement activities.

Accountable to meet and/or exceed the aggregate annual segment sales target through new customer acquisition and retention activities.

Identify strategic customer accounts/prospects and develop annual sales account plans.

Regularly assess potential within the existing customer base to determine strategies and tactics to cross sell solutions and increase volume.

Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements including responding to request for proposal and request for information activities through networking, cold calling, and monitoring customer/prospect procurement activities.

Provide sales leadership in the negotiation and closing of major project opportunities working collaboratively with branch managers and their project manager teams.

Ensure compliance to legislative, regulatory, and Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards

Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for:

Experience – 5+ years of related sales experience in industrial/commercial electrical experience

Licenses – Valid Driver's license

Communication – Excellent oral presentation and writing ability.

Negotiation- Demonstrated ability to secure favourable commercial terms and craft service agreements.

Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organizational skills.

Full understanding of the commercial and/or industrial sales cycle.

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and to successfully manage customer relationships.

Proven ability for multi-tasking to manage and drive the complex demands of a sales leadership role.
