This is a contract job for a residential garage floor epoxy company. We do not have a set schedule. When people want an epoxy garage floor then we have work. it is always in a different location in the major Houston area. we averaged 3 days a week. sometimes more sometimes less but this is the average. averga day is 7-12 hours, we have been working 3 to 5 days a week so I need someone else.
You must have a Texas valid driver's license in your possession
You must have a social security card in your possession
You must have the legal right to work on the USA
You must have your own reliable cargo van or truck in your name that you can use for work.
No Felonies.
No Exceptions to these.
pay is $30 an hour plus $.50 cents per mile for driving to the job site after you pick up the grinder. You're also get paid mileage if you bring the grinder back.
pay is received typically the day after we complete the project and are able to deposit the check unless that day is the weekend then you'll have to wait until Monday. most jobs are two or 3 days long and we get paid the day after we just have to deposit the check the next day. So you get paid pretty quickly.
each work day is an average of 7 to 12 hours depending upon the size of the floor. we have three days a week but have been working 5 lately.
we're looking for a young clean cut presentable individual with the strength to pick up heavy equipment, to work in the summer heat, garages are very hot and you'll get sweaty and you'll get dust on you and you'll need to grind concrete with a hand grinder which requires working on your knees. If you have any problems with your knees or back or are out of shape this will not work. typically college age guys the best because they can handle it. we are at high end residential homes so you must not have any face tattoos or face piercings or bring cigarettes drugs or smell like weed. Please be honest with yourself and ask if you can work outside in the heat for 10 hours a day, being in a garage is actually harder than being outside because there's no air circulation, You will have to wear a respirator and you will get dust on you. if you're concerned about getting dust on your vehicle this won't work. You need to be able to pick up a hundred pounds. because respirators are required you must not have facial hair or the respirator will not seal against your face there is no exception to this. If you have facial hair now please do not contact us.
