High Reach Forklift Operator Warehouse (Stocker)

Compensation: $13 - $14 per/hr., starting pay based on experience

Job title: High Reach Forklift driver / Stocker

We are recruiting an experience Warehouse High Reach Forklift Operator to join our team! Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials throughout an active warehouse, unloading trucks, setting pallets onto racks and placing pallets inside the grocery aisle for our stockers to stock.

Related experience may include: Warehouse Packer, Warehouse Receiver, Warehouse Worker, Package Handler, Order Puller, Forklift Operator, Forklift Associate, Shipping Clerk, Receiving Clerk.

About STMA’s position:

40 Hours a week, Plus Overtime available

No overnight work

Day shift: Monday – Saturday (Sundays off)

Store hours: 9:00 am to 5:15 pm (Start time as per supervisor’s request)

Saturday’s store hours: 9:00 am to 2:15 pm

Pay period is every 15 days. (not two weeks)

Full health benefits available (after one year of employment)

One hour lunch breaks and periodical breaks

Qualifications:

Experience in warehouse operations

Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or high reach forklift operations.

Certified High Reach forklift operator preferred.

Knowledge and skills common with 2 years’ experience in warehouse operations, including materials handling and stocking

Need to be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time

Additional physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more

Strong work ethic: You Must be willing to work and come to work on your scheduled work days and be on time

Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned department as specified.

Must be able to work independently while being supervised

Highschool diploma or equivalent

Speaking, speech clarity, and speech recognition.

Reading and written comprehension

Self motivated, keeping your aisle stocked, clean and products rotated

Be a good team member, help other team member as needed

Come in early if requested

Proof of Right to Work in the United States

Responsibilities:

Safe and efficient movement of products and materials

Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials.

Prepare products and materials for shipment.

Load, unload, and stage materials for stocking.

Help Stock and Pull when needed.

Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Working cooperatively in a team within the warehouse to efficiently receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material in order to maintain inventory standards.

Properly load and unload the materials from the truck, and maintain inventory control

Most importantly, you will deliver high quality customer service and professionalism

Additional physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds, and working on Saturdays is required by the job during the assigned work hours.
