We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to accurately and efficiently pull and prepare inventory for delivery, shipment, and customer will calls. Our ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and prioritizes safety. While prior experience is definitely a plus, we are happy to provide training and we welcome those who are new to the field! WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Keep designated work areas supplied with material, piling or stacking materials safely in designed locations

Follow and comply with OrePac procedures and state and federal safety regulations

Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

Prepare and maintain records of amounts of materials or items received or distributed

Upload, move, and store a variety of materials, parts or products; sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code

Use an RF gun to fill orders from storage areas and warehouse stock and deliver to designated department or to shipping preparation area

Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing station or shipping department

Forklift duties may be assigned and would include taking and passing a forklift training course, obtaining a certificate, staging and/or stacking material neatly and safely, operating the forklift in a safe manner, filling the forklift with propane fuel, and regularly checking forklift fluid levels

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Ability to perform all job functions safely

Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

1 year of related warehouse experience (preferred but not required)
