Join us at The Pinery for the South End Get Down every Friday this summer as one of our own. This is an opportunity to be a part of the vibrant cultural scene in Burlington. Every Friday we celebrate with local food vendors, amazing music, and provide an experience for our community. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Security & Barbacks.
Position: Security & Barback
Location: The South End Get Down
Shift: Fridays, 4:00 PM-11 PM
Responsibilities:
Security:
Greet patrons with a warm and welcoming demeanor as the first point of contact.
Check IDs to ensure all patrons are of legal drinking age.
Monitor crowd activity.
Enforce venue policies to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
Record attendance accurately to ensure compliance with venue capacity regulations.
Handle any disturbances or conflicts with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaborate with fellow security team members and management to address any security concerns promptly.
Barback:
Restock bar supplies, including ice, cups, and garnishes, throughout the night.
Collect trash, cups and cans to preserve cleanliness during the event.
Provide friendly customer service by addressing any patron requests or concerns.
Requirements:
Prior experience in security or hospitality preferred but not required.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in pressure situations.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Must be available to work Friday evenings on a consistent basis.
