Support the execution of audit facilitation activities and remediate and prevent audit findings, including interaction with external financial statement auditors and provide audit liaison support to DoD organizations, Commands, Service Providers, and other external stakeholders.

Support audit infrastructure activities by coordinating, monitoring, and reporting the status of Provided by Client (PBC) requests and audit samples utilizing audit response tool.

Coordinate audit walkthroughs to prepare DoD organizations for auditor walkthroughs and site visits develop audit checklists.

Facilitate bi-weekly audit in process reviews and audit entrance/exit conferences.

Coordinate, track, and report on relevant financial management findings and recommendations assigned to Financial Operations and Accounting (FOA) from the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO), Department of Defense Inspector General (DoDIG), and audit agency.

Coordinate, monitor, and report on financial statement and Service Organization Control 1 (SOC1) audit Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFR) and Corrective Action Plans (CAP) utilizing the DoD's NFR and CAP management tool.

8+ years' experience in financial audit-related work for the federal government, or DoD specifically

4 years of experience with federal financial management

2 years of federal accounting experience

Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree WITH CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFM

Active Secret security clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
