Finally, we pack it all in boxes with minimal packaging and personally deliver this goodness right to our customer’s doorstep.Job SummaryWarehouse Associates play a number of key roles in making fresh delicious meals delivered to the door step a reality by preparing ingredients and packing individual orders to go out for delivery. Hours generally run around 8:30 am – 3:00 pm on prep days and 6:00 am – 1 pm on pack days. Actual hours will vary with seasonality, sales, and product outline.Core ResponsibilitiesPacking. The warehouse associate on the pack line is responsible for ensuring that boxes are packed according to individual customer orders while keeping quality control, pack accuracy, timeliness and presentation in mind at all times. Portioning. Taking bulk produce and grains and measuring it into individual portions in accordance with the portioning sheet, making a specified quantity to fulfill customer orders. Cleaning. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times. Perform daily cleaning tasks at the end of shift to prepare for the next day. Delivery. Occasionally there is the opportunity to deliver some of the boxes created to customer doorstep’s locally for those who would like to and have an appropriate vehicle to do so. Job Requirements● Lift up to 50 pounds in an environment that can vary in temperature from warm to freezing. The warehouse is open to seasonal weather and includes walk in freezers and fridges. ● Continuously walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach forward, overhead, and from side to side for long periods of time.● Competency in basic math, English reading, writing and speaking.● Ability to consistently arrive on time, awake and ready to work early in the morning.● Have a current Washington State Food Worker Card or complete course within 2 weeks.
