Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an energetic and results oriented Fabrication Quality Senior Manager (Level L) to support the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) in Everett, WA .The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment. The candidate will lead and support implementation of the Built-in Quality and Quality Improvement initiatives in Fabrication Quality.Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives including One Boeing Production System, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Defect Reduction and Six Sigma processes. The successful candidate will find implementation of new and innovative approaches including advanced process and production oversight methods and new technology to be an exciting and engaging aspect of their assignment. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.Position Responsibilities

Lead the Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU) Quality organization.

Oversight of functions and activities that affect product quality with a Total Quality perspective

Lead change and improvement across the production system and quality system

Lead, engage, motivate and guide the MBU quality team

Assure the reliability and consistency of business unit processes

Understand customers’ requirements and ensure they are satisfied

Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data

Teach and rely on structured problem-solving methods to resolve issues and drive improvement

Understand and teach current standards, policies and requirements

Communicate with internal and external regulatory and compliance officials and support onsite audits

Champion key initiatives including six sigma, analytics-based decision making, forward looking measures, APQP, standardized work and structured problem solving.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s Degree

5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

5+ years in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality

5+ years' experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Experience in determining and executing strategic/tactical direction

Demonstrated background in compliance, and partnering with regulatory agencies

Ability to plan, develop, and execute business plans

Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving.

Experience working with Boeing suppliers and Supplier Quality
