Little Multilingual Academy is a licensed childcare center located in the heart of Kent. We are reopening in June and are currently seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our community.
Qualifications
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, educational expertise, and a passion for working with children
Speaking multiple languages is a huge plus
ECE state certification or equivalent approved by DCYF
2 years as a teacher of any age group enrolled in a early learning program
1 year in administration or management of an early learning facility
Completion of all preservice requirements under WAC 110-300-0105
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, and children
Knowledge of state licensing regulations for child care centers
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
As the Child Care Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care
Develop and implement educational programs and curriculum that align with state regulations and promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children
Supervise and support a team of child care staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Oversee enrollment procedures, including conducting tours for prospective families and ensuring accurate record-keeping
Collaborate with parents to address any concerns or questions regarding their child's development or well-being
Manage the center's budget, including monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in early childhood education
