Small, well established neighborhood restaurant is seeking an experienced cook. Looking for someone with hand tossed pizza experience and the ability to work in a tight space. Duties include pizza cook, prep cook, cold line and dishwasher, sometimes all in the same day, many times all at the same time.
This position would be Thursday-Sunday with 2 closing shifts and total hours around 25+ per week with the ability to pick up shifts. We can be flexible.
We have a small kitchen, a small crew and experience predictable rushes and consistent business. This position requires the ability to work very independently as well as cohesively with other cooks and FOH. As mentioned before, we are a small crew and all come together to have a smooth, lucrative work environment. We pool all tips evenly so teamwork comes easy. $17.50 base pay averaging $15 per hour in tips. Hourly workers can reasonably expect to make $32 an hour over time. Summer is busy for us, as our beer garden gets more use than the winter time, though we see very small seasonal changes in business otherwise.
