East Anchor Seafood is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Seafood Order Packer and Biller. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately packing seafood orders and processing billing documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job hours: Monday-Friday, 9 am -12/1 pm
Responsibilities:
Order Packing:
Prepare seafood orders for shipment by selecting the correct items according to order specifications.
Ensure accuracy in packing by verifying product quantities, sizes, and varieties against order invoices.
Package seafood products securely to prevent damage during transit, following established packaging guidelines.
Billing and Documentation:
Generate invoices accurately reflecting the contents and quantities of each order.
Verify billing information, including customer names, addresses, and payment details, to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or similar environment preferred.
Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count and measure quantities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Proficiency in using computerized systems for order processing and billing (training will be provided).
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of seafood products and industry experience is a plus but not required.
Clean driving record required.
