Data Center Facility Technician level 1
Coloinseattle is looking for level 1 datacenter technician.
The ideal candidate would be someone who loves working with computer hardware and learns quickly and retain what they learn.
You will be learning, building, troubleshooting, racking servers and providing customer service via phone and ticketing system.
Please note this is not a system admin job and will not be managing systems. This position focuses on the hardware aspect such as building servers, troubleshooting why a sever does not boot up, swapping memory, cpu, hard drive, installing base OS, running cable inside datacenter, audit cabinet for labeling accuracy, etc.

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs equipment and working in restricted spaces
Able to work in a climate controlled and noisy environment for long periods of time
Ability to work unsupervised
Able to work in non-business hour shift
Skills/Characteristics:
Technically/Mechanically incline
Ability to triage and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail yet have the ability to understand the big picture
High sense of urgency for completion of critical tasks
Quick but also precise, able to follow procedures accurately and reliably
General willingness to jump in and tackle challenges as they arise (helpful)
Results-driven individual who does whatever it takes to succeed and loves a challenge.
Requirement:
You have built many servers and is currently operating them in your own server farm in your house for hosting game servers/website/email server/media servers, etc.
Preferred but not required: CompTIA A+
