Resident Services Coordinator

The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining the program designed to reduce the need for subsidized programs and services. The position provides case management to participants in efforts to support and facilitate increased self-sufficiency.

This is a full-time position at 40hrs/week.

Job Duties Include:

1. Conduct resident interviews and determine eligibility for the program.

2. Assess resident needs and with resident's input, facilitate measurable goal setting.

3. Provide case management according to program policies.

4. Refer to community agencies; document and monitor resident's progress.

5. Assist in the development of program policies and procedures.

6. Network, establish and nurture relationships with relevant community providers.

7. Maintain program data regarding services provided, referrals made, accomplishments achieved etc. for the purposes of program reporting.

Qualifications Include:

1. A bachelor’s degree in human services or related field is preferred or an associate degree in a related field with 2-4 years of case management experience can be substituted.

2. Bi-lingual; English/Spanish desired but not required.

3. Dependability, ability to work under pressure, willingness to learn, collaborative approach to problem solving and openness to teamwork are desired.

4. Have a good driving record to use company vehicles.

5. Effective communication skills: both written and verbal to convey information to participants, co-workers and partnered agencies.

6. Knowledge of professional business practices such as using phone, printer, copier, letter writing etc.
