This person will provide leadership to the front of house operations and staffing. Teamwork is the name of the game at G&R so being a team player as well as leading a team is of utmost importance. They will have previous experience in and display proficiency at the technicalities of working a fine dining restaurant while embodying a deep sense of hospitality for the guest and the team around them. They will drive revenue, ensure the quality of the guest experience, and manage FOH staffing.
Qualifications
5 years experience in a fine dining restaurant
Broad knowledge of wine and liquor
Leadership skills
Attention to detail
Welcoming and outgoing personality
Know how to manage and work in a team
Adeptness at handling customer complaints
A decent person to be around
Responsibilities
Recruiting, hiring and training all FOH staff
All basic on-boarding
Cook FOH training (cooks run food)
Scheduling employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage
Streamlining the restaurant processes to improve the guest experience
Monitoring restaurant finances, including sales and expenses
Beverage numbers specifically
Enforcing food handling regulations and other guidelines to increase guest safety
Promoting the restaurant and finding ways to bring in more customers
Maintaining a relationship with Nearby Hotels

Contributing to and coordinating with Social media
Working with staff in promoting internal events etc.
Handling customer complaints
In-person, email and phone lines
Completing necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory and staff attendance reports
Working the floor
Hosting and Providing support to all departments (bar, wine, service, running food, host stand)
Attending to Reservations on Open Table
Providing direction towards efficiency and quality
Overseeing all printed material
Manager meetings (weekly one on one with owner and weekly FOH core team meetings)
