We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide home health support for our elderly father who has disabilities. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and capable of assisting with daily activities while promoting independence and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medication under the guidance of healthcare professionals
- Help with mobility and transfer as needed
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany to medical appointments and outings
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home health care or caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
