Looking for a detail-oriented individual who is willing to take full ownership of a small company's bookkeeping, office, and receptionist needs. The ideal candidate should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator over the phone. Normal business hours are 7:30 am to about 3:30 pm weekdays. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Must know and work with G/L, A/R, A/P, and payroll
Must be proficient using a computer and entering data. Current accounting software is Sage 50
Answer the phone and disseminate calls/take messsages
Interact with customers and vendors
Print and mail invoices and checks
Keep track of inventory
Process bank deposits, cash receipts, adjustments
Keep a clean and orderly work area.
