Description:In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the crane repairs for their customers and clients. They will be troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical devices. You will be operating a stick welding machine to complete minor repairs.Perform Service work on various types of overhead cranes (AC and DC)Installation of large modification to existing cranesTroubleshoot all types of crane electrical control (magnetic, vacuum contactor, and VFD)Perform detailed inspections on all types of lifting equipmentSkills:field service tech, field service engineer, electro-mechanical, stick weldingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of Field Service Tech/Engineering Tech Experience -traveling is 85% and they go to 2-3 sites a dayMinimum 3 years of electro-mechanical experience-being able to trouble shoot wiring Minimum 3 years of repairing mechanical devices-cranes, elevators for example Minimum 1 year of welding experience-will have to spot weldAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
