Description We are looking for a diligent Receptionist to join our team in the healthcare industry. Located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, this role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact in our healthcare facility, managing all aspects of customer service, including answering and routing phone calls, and managing foot traffic through the office.Responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm welcome and directing them accordingly. Efficiently manage incoming calls, answering inquiries and routing calls to the appropriate department or individual. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to uphold the company's image. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations. Effectively manage customer service inquiries and issues, providing timely and accurate responses. Ensure all receptionist duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Maintain a deep knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization. Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed. Stay informed about all company and department updates in order to provide accurate information to visitors and callers. Handle any additional receptionist tasks as they arise. Requirements Proven experience in a receptionist role within the healthcare industry is preferred Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with patient enquiries efficiently Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, staff, and visitors Proficiency in using computer systems, including MS Office and patient management software Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion and in accordance with data protection regulations Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings Basic knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy and potentially stressful environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Must have a compassionate and empathetic nature.
