Currently seeking an IT Support Specialist with 0-3 years of IT experience to join our team. The IT Support Specialist will work closely with and learn from Senior IT Engineers to provide technical support for a Premier Client in the Downtown Atlanta area. This position is eligible for hybrid work after successful completion of onboarding period and demonstration of capabilities.
The ideal candidate is an IT learner/generalist that can troubleshoot and solve requests ranging from hardware or software issues, simple connectivity to assisting with conference room meeting setups. Reliability, professionalism and a high level of customer service required. Prior law firm experience helpful but not required.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals newly entering the IT industry. Seasoned IT professionals interested in steady side work are also encouraged to apply. This is a Contract W-9 position with potential to become permanent.
Position Location: Downtown Atlanta (Onsite with hybrid option)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Part/Full Time, Flexible Hours
Hourly Rate: $20 - $30 depending on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support components such as Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Cell phonesetc
Supply keyboards/mice/power strips/ethernet cables/phone chargers for walk-ups
Assist with conference room / meeting setups
Assist with help desk calls, scheduling and tickets
Inventory technology equipment and software
Demonstrate an aptitude and willingness to learn
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of computers, email, wifi and audio visual (Zoom/Teams)
Experience with laptops, servers and Windows operating systems + Microsoft Office
Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Ability to work independently; managing time and tasks effectively
Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally (printer, monitor, box of paper, computersetc)
