Circle Internet Financial, LLC has multiple openings for multiple positions including Staff Software Engineer for WFH opportunity.
Responsibilities: The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the integration of Platform Services with leading banks and financial technologies, including various cloud services, to facilitate enhanced scalability for an even greater number of Circle customer to access fast, secure, and low cost payment channels. Building publicly accessible APIs that enable development to seamlessly integrate with complex payments systems. Writing infrastructure to deliver greater payment experiences, including data sources, messaging systems, and APIs, with a focus on coding standards and code quality to ensure Circle’s APIs and infrastructure are functioning properly. Extending Circle’s in-house blockchain systems infrastructure. Assisting in designing, developing, testing, and shipping phenomenal Circle features and APIs, including developing platform tools that communicate to backend coding with authentication. Conceptualizing, calculating, and creating a comprehensive set of unit tests that guarantee desired functionality, implemented for every new feature built. Developing Circle’s Merchant Dashboard in order to connect Circle’s APIs to help merchants settle payments in Circle’s USD Coin. Other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Boston, MA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 18 months of experience in the job offered or related engineering position. Other special requirements include: 18 months of experience using programming language concepts such as C, Python, and Java; 18 months of experience debugging and monitoring for production services; 18 months of experience designing large-scale technology stacks or similar large-scale data ecosystems; 18 months of experience working with source control systems such as Git and SVN; and 18 months of experience working with data structures and developing algorithms for functionality.
