About Us:
The Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe is a unique cultural hub nestled in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Our facility includes a 2-screen cinema (109-seat and 49-seat), and the CCA Cinema Gallery, a large lobby space that showcases the work of local emerging artists. The primary mission of the CCA Cinema is to enrich the community through the art of cinema by providing a diverse range of independent, foreign, and classic films in a welcoming and inclusive environment. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant film culture and supporting local filmmakers while serving as a gathering place for cinephiles and enthusiasts alike.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive the promotion of our organization and its programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a creative flair for developing engaging campaigns as needed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and visibility of a vital cultural institution in Santa Fe.
Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing strategies to promote CCA and its events to target audiences as needed.
- Utilize pre-produced content for digital platforms, including social media channels, email newsletters, and the organization's website, to increase audience engagement and drive ticket sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams to curate and promote film programming that aligns with the organization's mission and resonates with our community.
- Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, arts organizations, and media outlets to expand our reach and enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze marketing metrics and audience feedback to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our marketing efforts and stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the arts, entertainment, or non-profit sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems i.e. Facebook, Meta Business, Instagram.
- Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling, with the ability to generate innovative ideas for promotional campaigns and follow pre-produced material guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of the Santa Fe community and the local arts scene is a plus.
Compensation:
- $25 hr @ 20-30 hrs per week
- Mixture of in-office and remote work possible
