Hello! Our small business print shop is looking to add a reliable, talented human being to our team! This position is great for someone who has a great eye for detail and the ability to stay tidy and organized. Please read on to learn more about our business, and other details about the position.
To preface, we would like to emphasize our business is definitely a fast-paced business at times, which may not be a good fit for everyone, we are looking for folks who have experience in that type of environment. Heavy emphasis on ability to multitask, working efficiently, and strong abilities in managing a workload.
Our company features a 32 hour, 4 day work week as well as a flex start hours from 8 - 9:30a. The team you will be working with is 7 people in size, and the whole team altogether is 16 people.
Our shop is located in the Brooklyn neighborhood, right off the Orange max line. There is also ample parking lot parking available for those who drive.
The position entails joining a team of folks who do a shared rotation of the tasks below. Please note you will slowly learn the following tasks and will be trained on how to do them:
Shipping orders
Quality control for printed artwork
Packaging up orders
Breaking down the cut-out product
Other miscellaneous tasks include sweeping at the end of the day and taking trash out. Please note you must be comfortable with being on your feet for extended amounts of time. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
