Cash Application Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in the wine industry, situated in Glen Allen, Virginia, 23060, United States. This role is key in maintaining the financial health of our organization by accurately processing customer credit applications, managing credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions to collect delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain precise customer credit records for future reference Handle customer inquiries related to credit applications and ensure resolution Monitor customer credit accounts and identify delinquent payments Take necessary action to collect delinquent payments and maintain the financial health of the organization Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools to manage financial transactions Use the CRM system to keep track of customer interactions and transactions Generate reports using Crystal Reports to provide insights on customer credit status Manage Accounts Receivable and ensure timely collection of payments Handle Cash Activity and Cash Applications to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with CRM systems Familiarity with Crystal Reports Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Understanding of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes Ability to handle Billing Functions Experience with Cash Activity management Proficiency in Cash Applications Experience in the wine industry is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
