Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.The Asset Liability Management (ALM) team within the Corporate Treasury department manages the balance sheet with over $900 billion in interest-bearing assets, fixed income investments and off-balance-sheet brokered deposit agreement notional investments. The ALM team is also responsible for balance sheet modeling and analytics, market risk management, and net interest revenue forecasting.As a key people leader within the ALM team focused on Market Risk Modeling, you will take an integral part in overall interest rate risk management as well as strategic optimization of the balance sheet and corresponding NIM profile through development and execution of a robust market risk modeling framework in collaboration with business partners, including investment portfolio managers, risk partners, and product leaders across the firm.This is a role where you will be able to grow your expertise through consistent challenges with the backing of passionate leaders who will value your contributions and prioritize your development.This role will manage a team of about five individual contributors and lead all aspects of modeling of the balance sheet.You’ll lead the development of a robust Market Risk Management modeling and initiatives to enhance, streamline, and automate balance sheet analytics and dynamic NII sensitivity measurement. You and your team will collaborate with key business partners to drive balance sheet analytics to support investment allocation decisions, strategy, and risk management.What you haveRequired Qualifications

Seven years relevant experience (or combination of time in post graduate studies) in treasury, finance, and/or ALM roles, including at least five years of professional experience at an institution or institutions of a similar size and complexity as Charles Schwab.

Two years of experience leading multiple individual contributors

Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or Economics

Strong fixed-income investment modeling and analytics knowledge

Expertise and hands-on experience in balance sheet modeling, net interest revenue modeling, and EVE modeling

Direct experience modeling derivatives and associated hedge accounting

Strong knowledge of fixed income modeling in systems such as PolyPaths, QRM, BlackRock, Murex, Intex, Bloomberg, Calypso

Knowledge of premium discount amortization and associated impact of principal prepayments on NII

Knowledge of securities accounting standards and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

CFA, FRM or PRM designations

Experience with Python and SQL or another general-purpose programming language

Enthusiasm to work in white space and the ability to create innovative analyses to help drive the strategy and risk management of the balance sheet

Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure in a potentially fast-paced environment

Strong written and oral communication skills
