MMD Medical, a Velosity Company is searching for a TP Operator role to support our manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Park, MN. The purpose of the TP Operator role is to successfully work on the 2 different sides of Thermal Plastics: Assembly and Molding. Assemble and build components in accordance with manufacturing and quality assurance procedures and specifications. On the Molding side, ability to operate injection molding machines and perform related component manufacturing operations including inspection, sorting, and trimming of those components in accordance with manufacturing and quality assurance procedures and specifications. This job is performed inside of a Class 7 or Class 8 Cleanroom. This is an on-site position. Who is MMD Medical? Documenting activities in order to maintain and demonstrate cleanroom specifications. Ensure training is complete in Quality System and properly documented per GDP (Good Documentation Practices) Perform general assembly and secondary production operations Inspecting, labeling and packaging products Operate up to four (4) auto presses at a time; visual inspecting, trimming, labeling and packaging products. Meet or exceed production rate and scrap expectations as driven by dispatch and ERP and enter on the hour by hour board. Track manufactured and rejected parts on the Reconciliation sheet, enter into ERP and maintain in Traveler through completion of job/shift following GDP. In some cases may need to be certified for certification jobs performed on floor. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school Diploma/GED Six (6) months experience in a medical manufacturing environment. Ability to read and write in English, comprehend and follow work instructions Ability to do basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions and decimals) Good manual dexterity and visual ability with high attention to detail Ability to use hand tools Physical Requirements Standing, Walking, Kneeling, Bending, Reaching, Pulling, Twisting, Turning, Seeing, Hearing Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Work Environment Requirements Ability to withstand exposure to a cleanroom manufacturing environment Working Overtime when needed.   • Description POSITION SUMMARY As a Stacker Operator with Liberty Packaging, you will contribute to the growth of our business by being a key player in safely producing quality corrugated products for our customers. Proactively communicate issues with equipment to appropriate leaders, and assist with trouble shooting, and problem solving to maximize overall equipment efficiency and minimize downtime. Intermittently assist with minor repairs to equipment in partnership with maintenance team. Maintain a clean and organized work areaby following post order cleaning process. Follow plant safety processes and procedures outlined for the machine center. Other duties, as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution or 1+ years manufacturing or comparable experience in place of education. Previous experience applying math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Previous experience reading, following, and/or completing detailed work instructions. Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Experience reading a tape measureto within 1/16 measurement. Experience with computer skills such as typing, printing, and data entry. Experience within the corrugated industry. Experience with operational excellence or continuous improvement programs Lean 6 Sigma, Kaizen Events.
