The Tool Management Operator will ensure system availability and conduct system administration, installation, troubleshooting, and configuration support for network sensors and scanners throughout the network.The selected applicant will perform a variety of activities including but not limited to:

Perform weekly vulnerability audits, submit Plans of Action and Milestones, and assist with patching for all systems to maintain compliance with operational directives.

Perform system administration of specialized network systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration.

Create, maintain, and refine network diagrams for the network reflecting the current placement of all sensors.

Manage user accounts and permissions on network sensors and sensor management systems.

Provide network defense system implementation, installation, and configuration support.

Monitor and provide detailed and near real-time reporting on the status and availability of network sensors deployed across the network.

Monitor and report to the appropriate personnel within one hour, resolving the connection and parsing faults within data sources.

Requires a Master’s level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Seven years professional experience in systems administration.Applicant selected must hold a current valid IAT Level II certification. Candidate selected must maintain the required IAT Level II compliant certification. Certification Requirements: This position will require DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II compliance.An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Travel for this position may be required. This position is considered essential and will be required to report during hazardous weather, power outages, fuel shortages, pandemics, and other emergencies.RMC employees may be subject to COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements in order to access government facilities.
