  • Summary About the Position: Serve as a Supply Management Specialist and as the Property Book Officer for US Army Criminal Investigation Division Field Offices with responsibility for assisting the Assistant Director for Logistics, Facilities & Maintenance (G-4) with planning the property accountability or supply program, providing supply management support to CID as well as overseas geographically disbursed at various locations world-wide deployed in support of Combatant Commander Warfighting efforts. Responsibilities Serve as Property Book Officer and manage property accountability utilizing automated systems. Account for equipment through the proper issue, receipt, and transfer of equipment. Provide guidance and training to primary hand receipt holders and logistics personnel to resolve discrepancies discovered during inventories. Provide advice on supply systems, requirements, procedures, and policy to assure understanding and compliance with requirements and regulations. Ensure all non-standard equipment purchased for use, not assigned a material number, is submitted for the assignment of a material number to enable cradle to grave accountability. Evaluate supply programs to resolve problem areas and material management weaknesses. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures governing operations, monitors operations to detect and correct problems, and personally intervenes in sensitive or critical transactions which may impact units at the organization level.   • Summary Serves as the Supervisory Store Associate in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) location. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the second line supervisor and manager of the Front-End Department of a Commissary store. The incumbent is fully responsible for all aspects of planning, scheduling, coordinating and controlling front end activities and personnel, and controlling all funds received and deposited daily as part of the front-end department operations.
