The House Supervisor will oversee clinical operations of the facility by planning, organizing, directing and coordinating nursing units. The House Supervisor will identify opportunities for improvement in nursing operations consistent with current policies and procedures. The House Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of RNs and CNAs providing clinical expertise to staff as needed, as well as interfacing with physicians. Clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members by maintaining cooperative relationships, applying management principles, relating and working effectively with others, and effectively communicating.
Responsible for basic work relating to all types of trades, such as maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, welding, preventive maintenance and equipment repair. Performs skilled and unskilled work for several crafts. Performs duties and responsibilities at locations separated from Rutherford Regional Health System as necessary and all other duties as required.
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory therapy students. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Respiratory Therapists assigned to the pulmonary functions lab, responsible for performing diagnostic cardiopulmonary evaluations and respiratory therapy treatments designed to care for patients with deficiencies and dysfunctions of the cardiopulmonary system. The Pulmonary function technologists primarily perform diagnostic tests. These tests can include spirometry, diffusion testing, lung volumes, airway resistance, respiratory muscle forces, bronchial provocation testing, assisting with bronchoscopy, CPX testing and other tests that a doctor orders. They must also be able to calibrate, clean and maintain diagnostic equipment and recognize when equipment malfunctions.
This position is eligible for a $7,500 Sign-On BONUS! Clinical Lab Techs perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. They will perform a variety of routine and complex testing ranging from waived to high complexity testing in all sections of the laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, and Microbiology. Clinical Lab Techs participate in patient testing, quality control, CAP surveys, policy and procedure development, and equipment maintenance.
