Education/formal training/licensure/certifications/experience: Must have a valid NC LPN License or CMA Certification. Minimum one year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment. Preferred, but not required, Family Medicine work experience. Additional Skills: Financial/analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written skills. Skilled with technology including Telehealth platforms. Excellent customer service skills. Extensive knowledge of insurance rules, including reimbursement, third-party payers, pre-certification, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
