I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean, and in order) Physical Effort: Work requires extensive standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weighing up to 40 pounds is required. May occasionally lift heavier items with assistance. During research of technical manuals or microfilm, extensive reading may cause eye strain. Working Conditions: Work is performed primarily inside a warehouse and occasionally in outside areas. Work area is cold, drafty, or hot. Subject to possible injury when lifting or moving materials. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. It is a time limited position NTE 30 September 2024 and may be extended up to a maximum of 3 years. This position will be filled as a time-limited appointment. Army employees who accept time limited appointments (to include employees with personal competitive status) will be separated at the end of the time-limited appointment date if the Not-to-Exceed (NTE) date is not extended. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Temporary appointment will be appointed/converted into a Temporary appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position. There are no return/reemployment rights to the position vacated prior to accepting the time-limited appointment. Permanent Army employees who accept a time limited appointment will be expected to sign a statement of understanding acknowledging the associated impacts of taking such appointment.

This position supports the Army’s Victim Advocacy Program (VAP) which provides comprehensive services 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, to assist and advocate for victims of domestic abuse and to ensure a victim\'s easy transition to community resources. The victim advocate (VA) serves Soldiers and Army Families living on and off the installation in accordance with the program protocol.
