Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk. This role is crucial to our organization as it involves processing invoices, organizing office mail, recording business transactions, and managing customer accounts. The successful candidate will also be expected to handle tasks related to credit processing, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Requirements Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records Address and resolve customer credit inquiries professionally and promptly Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate action to collect delinquent payments Assist with various tasks in the accounting department including processing invoices and organizing office mail Record business transactions accurately and efficiently Manage customer accounts ensuring all information is current and correct Execute full cycle payroll duties effectively Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks as required Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to financial transactions and credit processing. Requirements Demonstrable experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role for a minimum of 2 years Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in handling Full Cycle Payroll Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent numerical skills along with the ability to perform business math Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Excel Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
