  • Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for assisting nursing personnel in giving quality care to patients in the operating room. Performs duties and responsibilities of a scrub person under the direction of a registered professional nurse. Assists in obtaining supplies, equipment and opening of operating and other rooms, as necessary. Breaks down setup and prepares instruments for sterilization. Helps transfer patients to the recovery room and cleans and restocks the operating room.
