  • The Instructional Coach will provide a research-based, coordinated coaching strategy for the education staff of the Head Start and Head Start Supplemental Assistance Program.  They will be responsible to assess education staff to identify strengths, areas of needed support, and which staff would benefit from intensive coaching.  The Instructional Coach will be responsible for modeling and supporting teaching practices consistent with the agency\'s curricula and with the CLASS Instrument.  Additionally, they will support staff with implementation of PBIS in their classrooms.  This position will work closely with the Education Managers to support the education staff.

  • The Mental Health/Behavioral Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the Mental Health Services for the Head Start program.  They will provide assistance in the classrooms and homes for children experiencing behavioral issues and develop plans to improve children\'s behavior.  This position will also provide training and support for staff and parents on implementing program wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) and on parenting/social emotional development.  They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of working with diverse populations.
