Responsibilities Incumbent is appointed by the Battalion Commander as the organization\'s Information Assurance Manager (IAM) servicing the entire Raven Rock Mountain Complex. Display initiative and resourcefulness in identifying policy objects supporting a system\'s security template, developing processes and training to support the desired security posture. Issue clear and understandable instructions, both verbal and written, to a myriad of recipients designed to coordinate IA efforts and solve IT security related problems. Utilize extensive knowledge of all areas of information security to establish operating standards and procedures for the Installation Information Assurance Programs. Prepare, publish, and disseminate local policies and procedures which define objectives, requirements and operational procedures for ISS. Administer and monitor command compliance with the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program. Issue and control access authorizations of all personnel with a demonstrated requirement to access the data processing activity, to include users, contractors, and maintenance personnel. Review the status of all information systems and networks to ensure no changes have been made which affect security or negate accreditation.
