The Systems Coordinator is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position. This position requires weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays. Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities: The Systems Coordinator will assist in the administration of installed systems and their respective networks. The candidate will assist with performance of system administration, software. and hardware support. Will also be responsible to routinely update documentation to ensure it is accurate and provide server, network, and database administration as directed by team members. The Systems Coordinator will assist key Hershey’s Chocolate World personnel with PC and hardware-related issues and will provide technical expertise and support for business needs and operations as it relates to PC or system issues. The Systems Coordinator will provide daily ongoing support to ensure the successful uninterrupted operation of all retail, food, and attraction systems and will troubleshoot system issues, place service calls to vendors and complete issue follow-up, and maintain tickets in Service Now. The Systems Coordinator will assist in system testing of new releases and/or enhancements and updates, will establish test plans, assist in review of new software or enhancements, provide training to users, and participate in the implementation and monitoring of all new releases and updates. Associates degree in Information Systems is preferred but not required. The successful candidate in this role will lead projects to enable more sustainable cocoa farming practices and support key technical initiatives to enable cocoa quality and yield improvement. This project leader will be adept at demonstrating and applying technical knowledge and expertise to the Hershey Cocoa Science program. They will have the ability to develop and share technical expertise within the Cocoa Science team, cross functionally within the organization, and externally with key research partners. The successful candidate will be proficient at communicating complex or technical subject matter written and verbally to different audiences at different levels within the organization and externally.
